In this discussion we present how to frame a non load-bearing interior wall to partition an area such as a basement or other large space using 2x lumber. You will learn how to attach the wall to the existing structure, layout the wall for doors and other openings, creating corners, and place stud work for finishing your wall with 4×8 sheet goods such as drywall. We will also discuss how to plan for wiring and other such things.

About the presenter: Regis Will is a woodworker, craftsman, and owner of Vesta Home Services, a consulting firm on house restoration and Do-it-Yourself projects. He blogs about his work at The New Yinzer Workshop.

This workshop is FREE and open to the public. RSVPs are appreciated: marylu@phlf.org or 412-471-5808 ext. 527
