Workshop: Culinary Herb Gardening

The Landmarks Preservation Resource Center, in a partnership with the Allegheny County office of the Penn State Extension, will offer a comprehensive workshop/lecture on Culinary Herb Gardening, by Silloo Kapadia a master gardener. This is the third of a four-part workshop series.

This lecture is free and open to the public.

Growing and harvesting your own culinary herbs adds fresh zest to dishes, a touch of nature to home décor and wonderful fragrance. In this class, learn how to start herbs and maintain them through the growing season. Details to identify, cultivate, propagate and use some of the favorite herbs of flavor and fragrance will be discussed.

About the presenter: Silloo Kapadia is a Master Gardener with an interest in culinary herbs and spices. She is also a member of the Western Pennsylvania Unit of the Herb Society of America.
