Woodville Plantation Hosts A Day With The Nevilles

Step back in time at Woodville Plantation when this museum presents a special event.  Visit the Neville family and their friends as they enjoy a typical afternoon at Woodville Plantation. Visitors can interact with historic interpreters as they enjoy period games, sewing, entertainments and dining at the period correct hour of 2 pm.

  • Special hours for the event are from 1 to 5 pm.
  • Admission is $5.00 for adults, $3.00 for children age 6-12 and free for children under age 6.
  • A house tour is included with admission.

Woodville Plantation , the home of John and Presley Neville, is Western Pennsylvania’s link to the late 18th century. Built in 1775, this living history museum interprets life during the period of 1780-1820, the Era of the New Republic. Guided tours of the house are available every Sunday from 1 to 4 pm.

Just 7 miles and 15 minutes south of Pittsburgh, Woodville is conveniently located 1/4 mile north of Interstate I-79 Exit 55 (Kirwin Heights Exit) on Route 50, near the intersection of Thoms Run Road in Collier Township.
