Uptown Urban Hike: Trendy Lofts & Offices

Join Louise Sturgess of PHLF and architects and developers who are active in the area on an urban hike in Uptown. Participants will tour two schools that have been adapted for residential use––Fifth Avenue School Lofts and Miller School Lofts––and visit LGA Partners LP, a full-service architectural design firm located in a handsome historic building. Along the way, we’ll see wonderful views toward downtown Pittsburgh and many newly constructed residential developments next to traditional, historic homes. Things are looking up for Uptown.
Please bring a drink and snack to enjoy along the way if you like. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes.

Ending Location:
LGA Partners LP, 1425 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15219
Please note:
––This is a strenuous hike because it involves going uphill to the Miller School Lofts.
––The Uptown area is accessible by public transportation.
Parking suggestions: on-street parking on either Forbes or Fifth avenues, between Pride and Gist streets. Please observe posted parking regulations.
