Interior Trim Basics (Base, Casing, and Crown)—2
October 26, 2013 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am
FREEInstalling interior trim adds the finishing touches to a remodeling or construction project. Trim can be decorative, but it also serves a purpose to hide gaps where walls meet floors, windows, and doors. In this workshop, students will learn how to install baseboards, window and door casing, and crown molding.
The Landmarks Preservation Resource Center, in a partnership with DIY Pittsburgh, will offer a Interior Trim Basics Workshop Series. This will be a hands-on session. Students will complete small projects measuring, cutting, and installing interior trim. Topics include:
- Measuring and Cutting Interior Trim
- Baseboard installation
- Window and Door casing installation
- Crown Molding Installation
This lecture is free and open to the public.
