This demonstration workshop will touch on the basics of how to get started with installation of ceramic tile in your house. We will discuss aspects of ceramic installation like substrates, adhesives, grouting, cutting the tile, and how to work around obstacles such as plumbing systems and other utilities in the house. We will also discuss and look at some of the hand tools you might need for such a Do-It-Yourself project.
About the presenter: Regis Will is a woodworker, craftsman, and owner of Vesta Home Services, a consulting firm on house restoration and Do-it-Yourself projects. He blogs about his work at The New Yinzer Workshop.
