The reception is free and open to the public. Mr. Tannler will present brief remarks at 6:00 p.m. in the Carnegie Museum of Art Theater. A reception will follow in the foyer; books will be available for purchase at a special introductory offer ($14.00 plus sales tax; PHLF and CMA members receive a 10% discount).
This is the first guidebook devoted solely to twentieth-century buildings in metropolitan Pittsburgh. The 294-page book is illustrated with more than 300 photos (281 color, 40 b/w).
Pittsburgh Architecture in the Twentieth Century was funded through a lead grant from the Sports & Exhibition Authority of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County, major grants from The Fine Foundation and Alfred M.
