Remodeling a kitchen can be a challenging and costly endeavor. Renovating a kitchen in an older home can come with even more obstacles and uncertainty, so making sure the design and plan are right is critical.
The workshop will touch on a variety of kitchen design topics including, assessing needs and function in the 21st Century kitchen, tips for embracing troublesome openings and obstacles, and choosing a style that is timeless for older- and newer-homes.
Additional topics for the seminar will include planning for adequate lighting, differences in cabinet styles and finishes, typical space allowances, making the space adaptable for multiple users of differing ages and abilities, historic rehab considerations, budgeting, and more.
