LHRC Event: Public Art, Historic Restoration and Preservation

James Shipman, a ceramist, sculptor, and entrepreneur, will give a detailed presentation of his work, discussing the role of the artist in society in the context of community development.

Mr. Shipman, a long-established Pittsburgh sculptor will discuss his art work, currently on display on the walls of the Landmarks Housing Resource Center, where he uses half of the building as his studio and creative working space.

This session is FREE and open to the public.

Date: Saturday, Oct. 20

Time: 10:00am—11:30am (The center will be open for extended hours for those interested in seeing more of the space)
