Workshop on Renovation Scrapbooking: Landmarks Preservation Resource Center.

October 15, 2013 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Free

Documenting a home renovation project can be a rewarding part of the process.  At this second workshop from the Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse, teaching artist Katy DeMent will show you how to create a beautiful handmade scrapbook to record your progress, using materials that would usually be discarded.
You’ll go home with a finished book made by you that can become both a practical record and personal work of art as you fill it with photos, material samples, and conservation notes.  The simple bookbinding technique you’ll learn can be used again and again to create journals or albums of any size.

All necessary materials will be provided, but please feel free to bring wallpaper samples, paint samples, other materials if you’d like to incorporate them.
