Neighborhood Walking Tour: Oakland Civic District—Fifth Avenue

$20.00

In the years since 1889, when Mary Croghan Schenley donated 300 acres to the City of Pittsburgh to create a park in Oakland, the neighborhood has become a great civic, cultural, medical, and educational center. This tour focuses on the portion of Oakland that encompasses most of the neighborhood’s largest monuments, including elements of its City Beautiful plan and the world’s second-tallest educational building in the world.
