Overview

You can become involved in the work of PHLF by becoming a member, volunteering, participating in our tours and events, contributing to specific projects, and making a planned gift.

Our members include people from the Pittsburgh region and throughout the United States and world, as well as community groups, nonprofit organizations, businesses, government agencies, historic property owners, developers, and schools.

Everyone believes that historic neighborhoods and architectural landmarks are community assets and that historic preservation can be a catalyst for social, cultural, and economic renewal. “Through the place, we renew the spirit of the people,” says co-founder Arthur Ziegler.
