Creating a flexible, multi-purpose space within your home or on your property can serve many purposes: as an entertainment space, private guest suite, an independent living suite for multi-generational living, caretakers suite, private work space, and more. This seminar will provide ideas and design considerations so you can get more out of your space and property investment.

More and more Americans are planning this kind of flexible space in their homes for their children, guests, or in anticipation taking care of aging parents. Topics will include the types of functions the space might be geared toward, what amenities to be sure to include, energy efficiency, privacy, accessibility, cost benefits, and more.

About the presenter: Julie Graf is the owner of One of a Kind Design, an Interior Design company specializing in residential design. Julie has a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design and a Master’s Degree in Interior Architecture, and is a Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) and an Allied Member of the American Society of Interior Designers. She has served as an adjunct Interior Design instructor at Chatham University and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
