Cheryl C. Yochum was a dedicated gardener, herbalist, horticulturist, who appreciated history and architecture of our city.

For several decades, the City of Pittsburgh has had a street tree program which offered city residents a free tree to beautify the street they live on. This program has been restricted to City residents.

In memory of her commitment to nature and community, we are dedicating her remembrances to residents of Pittsburgh suburban communities, initially her home community, by offering free or reduced-price street trees.  Your donation will help establish, sustain and expand this initiative to other communities within Allegheny County and Western Pennsylvania.  Individuals and property owners interested in a tree may click HERE to be placed on our waiting list.  Questions and dedicated community donation inquiries may be directed to ron@phlf.org.  Immediate direct tax-deductable donations may be made below.
